Privacy Policy

Last updated July 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Scafflow collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Scafflow, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated as you use the product:

  • Account information — your name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash).
  • Business profile — details you enter such as business name, type, industry, location, description, logo, and website.
  • Your work in the app — tasks, notes, uploaded evidence, outreach lists, and the figures you enter into the financial model.
  • Billing information — if you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe; we receive limited details (such as plan and status) but never your full card number.
  • Usage data — basic technical information like device, browser, and pages visited, used to operate and improve the service. On our public marketing pages, analytics data is collected only if you consent (see “Cookies and analytics” below).

How we use your information

We use your information to provide and personalize Scafflow — including building your checklist, saving your progress, generating AI suggestions tailored to your business, processing payments, sending service-related emails, and improving and securing the product.

Service providers we share with

We share information only with vendors that help us run Scafflow, and only as needed:

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Resend — sending transactional emails (verification, password reset, reminders).
  • Anthropic — powering AI features; the relevant inputs you provide are sent to generate a response.
  • Neon & Vercel — database hosting and application hosting.
  • Google Analytics — measuring how our public pages are used, loaded only if you consent (see “Cookies and analytics” below).

We do not sell your personal information.

AI features

When you use an AI feature, the relevant information (for example a task's evidence or your financial inputs) is sent to our AI provider to generate suggestions. AI output may be imperfect and is provided for guidance only — it is not legal, financial, or tax advice.

Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies. We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the service securely. These are always active and do not require consent. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Analytics cookies. On our public marketing pages we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used and improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data (such as pages visited and general device and location information) on our behalf. We load it only after you accept via our cookie banner — if you decline, or before you choose, no analytics cookies are set and Google Analytics does not run.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the site footer. You can also learn more about how Google handles this data in Google's Privacy Policy.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your data at any time from within the app, and we will delete it (subject to limited legal and backup retention) when you close your account.

Your choices and rights

You can access, update, or delete your information from your account settings. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data — contact us to exercise them.

Security

We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

Children

Scafflow is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time and will revise the date above. Questions? Email us at support@tryscafflow.com.
